FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)
The following are some of the most common questions we get. We hope they are helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions.
Q. What system do you use?
Our system uses proven methods that have consistantly beend shown to be the right approach to learning a second language. The material has been developed and tested over many years. We maintain very high quality standards, which has gained us a great reputation.
Q. How experienced are your teachers?
All of our teachers have at least 7 years of teaching experience and all of them have obtained an University Certificate in Literature or Languages.
Q. What about schedules?
The schedules are open to the personal preferences of the student. Early in the morning or in the afternoon, from Monday to Friday. You always receive the hours you pay for. We also work on national holidays. We are open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Q. What about accomodation?
We can arrange different possibilities with families, hotels or hostals for you, whichever you prefer. We need some advance notice to find you accommodation that meet your expectations. 80% of our students stay with host families.
Q. May we stay as a couple with the same host-family?
Yes, you can stay together in the same family and experience the warm of an Ecuadorian family, taste typical food and practice your Spanish!
Q. How many hours per day may I study?
The majority of our students take 4-5 hours of classes a day, Monday through Friday.
Q. How may I pay?
You can pay us with cash, travelers checks, MasterCard, or Visa.
Q. How far from the school are host families located?
10 minutes by bus or a maximum of 20-25 minutes on foot.
Q. Do I need a student visa to study Spanish at your school?
You can study Spanish for up to 3 months without a visa. If you want to study more than this time, we can help you to get a student visa.
Q. Is the school located in the new town?
Of course! Our school is located in the heart of the new part of Quito. Close to the 5 star hotels, bars, restaurants, banks and other useful services. The Hilton Colon is located just one block from our school!
Q. Which kind of additional services do you offer? How much is that?
We offer you: Airport transfer upon arrival, 1 free excursion every week, salsa lessons, study materials, Hilton facilities and Spa (gym, sauna, jacuzzi, turkish bath and swimming pool), broad band internet service, luggage storage, diploma or certificate of studies.
Q. Is it possible to study first in Quito, followed by classes on the coast, in the jungle and on the Galapagos?
Yes, it is possible! You will continue the same program that you have been studying in Quito while you explore the beauty of Ecuadorian jungle, coast and / or Galapagos Islands
